House rules and conditions for entry apply to all events hosted or co-hosted by AARU

AARU is a place for everyone to feel safe and accepted. Any form of discrimination, harrassment or rudeness towards others are not acceptable.

There is zero tolerance towards predatory behaviours or sexual harrassment, if it is unwanted it is harrassment. If someone is making you or someone else feel uncomfortable, please ask one of our staff for help, we are here to keep you safe.

We encourage creativity and self-expression when it comes to dressing for our events, but any clothing that may be offensive or exposes the genital is prohibited.

Please do not record or film inside the venue unless you have been granted permission by our staff.

Treat the space with respect, keep the space clean, report any vandalism.

Instructions from staff must be respected and followed at all times.

Our staff reserve the right to remove anyone from our events when deemed neccesary. No refund will be offered in the case of breach in house rules.
Conditions for entry

18+ only, valid photo ID is mandatory.

Guests must not show signs of intoxication.

No prohibited items allowed, bags may be searched on entry.

Basic hygiene and appropriate footwear is mandatory.

No offensive clothing or costume.

Failure to comply with above may result in denial of entry.

Our staff reserve the right to deny entry to anyone as they see fit.
Prohibited Items

Weapons or any items that may easily be used as a weapon.

Explosives or flammables including but not limited to fireworks, open flamed lamps, incense.

Spray paint/Permanent Markers.

Gas cannisters/Cream chargers.

Lighting devices including but not limited to lasers and large flowtoys. (Applies to all our indoor events).
